On July 27, 2018, Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) released an RFP seeking a contractor to provide consulting services to USAC in the event of a transition to a new vendor in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) contract that Solix currently holds. Solix provides USAC with E-rate commitment and post commitment application and invoicing support. USAC released an RFP on March 13, 2018 for BPO services as they are looking to possibly replace Solix.
The contractor that USAC is now looking to procure will:
- Support the potential transition of Solix’s operations to the new BPO USAC contractor
- Develop and update training materials
- Assist with the development and implementation of quality assurance and procedural efficiencies
