On January 22, 2021, the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) updated the “bulk upload” templates used for importing funding request information into Funding Year 2021 Form 471 applications. Use of the template files is optional, but can save applicants time if they have larger applications or need to enter many funding request line items.
Changes were made to both the Category One and Category Two template files, with the most significant changes made to the Category Two version in order to reflect new “system-wide” Category Two budget rules. The new templates may be downloaded from USAC’s website here, and their January 22 News Brief provides detailed instructions for their use.
