The Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) opened the Funding Year 2021 application filing window at noon Eastern time on January 15, 2021. Within the first four hours of the window being open, more than 200 applications were submitted via USAC’s online portal.
Expected to run for 70 calendar days, the FY2021 window is set to close at 11:59pm Eastern time on March 25, 2021. The last date that an FCC Form 470 may be filed while still allowing the required 28 days for competitive bids will be February 25, 2021.
