The reply comment deadline for the FCC’s request for comments on the rules and procedures for the Emergency Connectivity Fund will close on April 23, 2021. In the more than 90 comments submitted prior to the initial comment deadline, stakeholders submitted a wide range of suggestions for product and service eligibility as well as funding caps and prioritization.
The FCC has historically valued feedback from schools and libraries on E-rate matters, and we know that constructive and consistent comments can have a significant effect on the program’s rules and regulations. The Emergency Connectivity Fund is no different, and it is vital that stakeholders in the E-rate program shape its direction.
Comments may be submitted to the FCC via their Electronic Comment Filing System (ECFS) at https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filings/express.
