On June 15, 2021, the Federal Communications Commission announced that the first application filing window for the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) program will open at noon Eastern time on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. The window will be open for 45 calendar days, closing on Friday, August 13.
The Emergency Connectivity Fund program will be administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), who currently administers the E-rate and other Universal Service programs. USAC’s newly-created ECF website may be accessed at https://www.emergencyconnectivityfund.org/.
