As of the first week of September, there have been $2.14 billion in E-rate discounts committed for funding year 2021. These have been committed to 20,712 applicants. 96.6% of all applicants have received a funding decision, and the funding decisions are the highest amount ever awarded by the first week of September.
By comparison, at this same point last year, $1.51 billion had been awarded to 20,410 applicants. USAC has continued to maintain a record pace of funding commitments in FY2021.
