On October 22, 2021, USAC announced that their News Brief will move to monthly publication schedule from their regular weekly postings. Prior to the announcement, USAC had taken a brief summer hiatus in their weekly postings. USAC plans on publishing additional issues and special editions to provide important program information and deadline reminder during the busier times of the E-rate calendar.
