On August 24, 2022, the FCC announced nearly $42 million in two funding rounds through the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) program. The funding commitments support applications from all three application windows and will help about 100,000 students.
To date, over $5.7 billion in ECF funding commitments has been approved. Approximately, $4.1 billion is supporting applications from Window 1, $831 million from Window 2, and $811 million from Window 3.
