On May 22, 2023, President Joe Biden announced Anna M. Gomez as a nominee for the Federal Communications Commission. Ms. Gomez “is a telecommunications attorney with extensive experience in domestic and international communications law and policy,” and served for twelve years in various roles at the FCC.
President Biden also nominated current Commissioners Geoffrey Adam Starks and Brendan Carr for successive terms.
