On August 3, 2023, Axios reported that First Lady Jill Biden, Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, and Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas will host a Cybersecurity Summit for K-12 Schools on Monday, August 7. It is reported that representatives from the Federal Communications Commission will be in attendance, as well as “a group of school superintendents, educators and education technology vendors.”
