On October 31, 2023, the Federal Communications Commission issued a Public Notice extending the October 30, 2023 invoice deadline for the Emergency Connectivity Fund program to 7:59pm Eastern time on Friday, November 3. The FCC noted that “a technical issue that might have prevented parties from timely filing” invoices by the original October 30 deadline, citing a “time zone error” that caused some invoices to be rejected.
