On October 12, 2023, the Universal Service Administrative Company announced that their E-rate Productivity Center portal (EPC) will be closed from noon Eastern on November 3, 2023 through November 7 at 9:00 am Eastern. The closure is part of USAC’s “E-rate System Modernization” effort, which includes moving the FCC Forms 472 (BEAR), 474 (SPI), and 473 (SPAC) from legacy systems into the EPC portal. USAC cautions that applicants or service providers who have program deadlines for invoices, appeals, or other responses during the shutdown should submit their information prior to EPC’s temporary closure.
