On March 30, 2026, the FCC Wireline Competition Bureau notified USAC that their E-rate FY2026 Program Integrity Assurance (PIA) Review Procedures have been approved. The letter noted, “…the Wireline Competition Bureau approves the Schools and Libraries Funding Year 2026 Program Integrity Assurance (PIA) FCC Form 471 Review Procedures, subject to any further modifications and/or instruction from the Bureau.”
This action is one step toward USAC being able to issue funding decisions for FY2026 Form 471 funding applications certified during the filing window, which closed on April 1st.
