On November 9, 2017 the SLD released further guidance regarding applying for the Hurricane Form 471 E-rate filing window that will open on November 13 and close December 13, 2017. Based on a Funds For Learning analysis, 4.5 million students are impacted. The guidance states that applicant’s should add the prefix H2017 to Hurricane specific Form 470s and Form 471 in order to be eligible for the emergency relief.
