FY 2014 Wave 001 Funding Analysis

On May 15, 2014, USAC released the first FY 2014 funding wave.  10,134 applicants, 38% of all FY2014 applicants, received funding decision letters. In all, $607.3 million in telecommunications and Internet access discounts was committed. USAC also issued denials totaling $22.8 million.

The funding commitments came from 14,667 Form 471 applications. 2,283 service providers were included in the funding decisions. There are an additional 31,386 Form 471s pending totaling $4.2 billion.
