Applicants who cannot locate their vendor’s Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) or for new entrants into the E-rate market who have not yet received their SPIN can use the temporary SPIN 143666666 on their Form 471 applications. Once an applicant has located the SPIN or the new vendors have received their new SPIN, applicants can make the correction through the Receipt Acknowledgement Letter (RAL) process or during the Program Integrity Assurance (PIA) application review process. It can take several weeks for new vendors to receive their SPIN once they submit Form 498 to USAC.
