The Schools and Libraries Division announced that on April 13 it will release another 235 E-rate funding commitment letters approving more than $110.6 million in commitments for the 2003 funding year.
The issuance of this 26th wave of funding letters represents a total commitment, so far, of nearly $2.5 billion in over 32,900 letters for the 2003 funding year.
The SLD recently announced that it has projected that applicants have requested $4.278 billion worth of funding requests for 2004, slightly less than its original demand projection for 2003.
